    Get PDF
The implementation of recommender systems in electronic procurement processes for service packages, consisting of product- and service components requires a consideration of strategic, tactical and operational procurement as well as information and communication technologies in value networks. Increasingly, the design of recommender systems for procurement processes in value networks is of scientific interest. The combination of different procurement processes for products and services driven by recommender systems however, includes problems. This paper shows the need for a process-oriented approach in procurement at several abstraction levels. A model for the design of the electronic procurement process in value networks to serve the identification of complex service packages and suppliers with recommender systems is described. Different process characteristics are investigated for the applicability of recommender systems in e-procurement. As an artifact this approach adjust a proposal for the recommender system-based procurement process in value networks

The implementation of electronic procurement processes for product-service bundles, consisting of product- and service components requires a consideration of strategic, tactical and operational procurement and information and communication technologies in value networks. In the past, the scientific discussion oriented on traditional procurement processes for products and technology-solutions. Increasingly, the design of hybrid procurement processes in value networks is of scientific interest. The combination of different procurement processes for products and services, however, includes problems. This paper shows the need for a process-oriented approach in procurement at several abstraction levels. We describe a model for the design of the electronic procurement process in value networks to serve product-service bundles. Different process characteristics are investigated for the applicability of product-service bundles and SCOR. We adjust a proposal for the procurement process in value networks

Multi‐Method Characterization of the High‐Entropy Spinel Oxide Mn0.2_{0.2}Co0.2_{0.2}Ni0.2_{0.2}Cu0.2_{0.2}Zn0.2_{0.2}Fe2_{2}O4_{4}: Entropy Evidence, Microstructure, and Magnetic Properties

The novel spinel Cu0.2Co0.2Mn0.2Ni0.2Zn0.2Fe2O4 comprising six transition metal cations was successfully prepared by a solution-combustion method followed by distinct thermal treatments. The entropic stabilization of this hexa-metallic material is demonstrated using in situ high temperature powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and directed removal of some of the constituting elements. Thorough evaluation of the PXRD data yields sizes of coherently scattering domains in the nanometre-range. Transmission electron microscopy based methods support this finding and indicate a homogeneous distribution of the elements in the samples. The combination of 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy with X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy allowed determination of the cation occupancy on the tetrahedral and octahedral sites in the cubic spinel structure. Magnetic studies show long-range magnetic exchange interactions which are of ferri- or ferromagnetic nature with an exceptionally high saturation magnetization in the range of 92–108 emu g−1 at low temperature, but also an anomaly in the hysteresis of a sample calcined at 500 °C

    Room-Temperature Solid-State Transformation of Na4 SnS4  ⋅ 14H2 O into Na4 Sn2 S6  ⋅ 5H2 O: An Unusual Epitaxial Reaction Including Bond Formation, Mass Transport, and Ionic Conductivity

A highly unusual solid-state epitaxy-induced phase transformation of Na4 SnS4  ⋅ 14H2 O (I) into Na4 Sn2 S6  ⋅ 5H2 O (II) occurs at room temperature. Ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD) simulations indicate an internal acid-base reaction to form [SnS3 SH]3- which condensates to [Sn2 S6 ]4- . The reaction involves a complex sequence of O-H bond cleavage, S2- protonation, Sn-S bond formation and diffusion of various species while preserving the crystal morphology. In situ Raman and IR spectroscopy evidence the formation of [Sn2 S6 ]4- . DFT calculations allowed assignment of all bands appearing during the transformation. X-ray diffraction and in situ 1 H NMR demonstrate a transformation within several days and yield a reaction turnover of ≈0.38 %/h. AIMD and experimental ionic conductivity data closely follow a Vogel-Fulcher-Tammann type T dependence with D(Na)=6×10-14  m2  s-1 at T=300 K with values increasing by three orders of magnitude from -20 to +25 °C

    E-Procurement of Cloud-based Information Systems – a Product-Service System Approach

    No full text
The way of providing information systems for companies changes dramatically. Topics like cloud computing serve as a promoter for the replacement of traditional monolithic business applications towards distributed and orchestrated application landscapes. This leads to new challenges in the development and provisioning of information systems. The question is now how to purchase appropriate application components, which may be integrated into an application landscape, rather than how to develop an information system from scratch. This leads to a shift in paying more attention to an appropriate procurement process of application components rather than to software development. This paper answers this issue by providing a sophisticated procurement process for cloud-based information systems by adapting a reference model for the procurement of product-service systems. Based on this procurement model, IT providers may provide solutions with higher complexity and better customer demand alignment to gain competitive advantage in a growing and dynamic market segment
